Day 88
Tuesday, March 29, 2011
Since today was our first day back after our trip to Belgium, I had plenty of laundry to catch up on. I put a load in the washer and began working on finishing up my 20 page paper on alcoholism for my Family Systems class.
I wrote for five hours, only stopping to shower, switch the laundry from the washer to the dryer a few times, and start a pot of spaghetti sauce for dinner. I finished my paper at 1800 and was ready to relax.
Matt got home from work to find me chilling on the couch, and a delicious spaghetti dinner simmering on the stove. We ate dinner, did the dishes, and relaxed for the rest of the night.
I think I don't regret a single 'excess' of my responsive youth - I only regret, in my chilled age, certain occasions and possibilities I didn't embrace. ~Henry James
