Day 67
Tuesday, March 8, 2011
I was so tired when my alarm clock went off at 0600 but I got out of bed, took my medicine, and got ready for work. Today I had eight testers which is a pretty full house, and the last guy didn't leave until after 1400. I was starving but I really didn't want to be at work for over eight hours because I don't get paid for any more than eight hours a day as a substitute. I ate my lunch while I worked on paper work and even though I was hustling, I didn't make it out of there until after 1600. Just as I was about to leave, a University of Maryland employee came into the testing center and asked me if I wanted her job. Her husband had just received PSC orders to Tampa and they were heading out by the end of March. Her job is also as a testing examiner but it's 20 hours a week and the tests are different than the ones I currently administer. I told her I would think about it and get back to her by the end of the week.
By the time I got home it was almost 1700 and I knew Matt would be home soon too and ready for dinner so I went ahead and put the ground turkey in a skillet to make taco meat for our taco salads. I decided to lay on the couch after dinner and I fell asleep for two hours which felt amazing! I woke up and did the dishes and some laundry before heading to bed at 2300.
