When Hubster's Away, Wiffle Gets To Play

Day 64
Saturday, March 05, 2011
I didn't even want to get out of bed this morning, I couldn't breath very easily and my head still hurt from crying all night. I took my medicine and went back to sleep until about noon. When I woke up the second time I felt lonely and kind of hungry. I haven't really had much of an appetite this week with being sick so at first I wanted to eat everything in the house. I convinced myself that eating healthy was a better idea because I'm trying to lose weight, so I just made some eggs and turkey bacon. I drank plenty of water and also ate a yogurt like my doctor asked me to while taking this medicine.

I felt much better after eating and I decided to make the most of this day; Matt had been gone all week and I hadn't really had too much fun or time out of the house because I was sick. I sent my friend Michelle K a message to see if she wanted to go tanning with me after I dyed my hair and took a shower, and she said "yes". We decided to walk to the salon to get some fresh air and exercise; it was a 30 minute walk to the tanning salon where we tanned for 12 minutes and then walked back home another 30 minutes. The sun was out and it wasn't too chilly because we were walking rather briskly. Michelle and I talked the whole way which made the walk go by so fast.

We made a plan for later to go eat dinner and see a movie on base at 2100. I invited our friend Suzi and she suggested a Mexican restaurant close to Patch that was much better than the place we tried on our ladies night out. Dinner was fun and the movie (Hall Pass) was hilarious, I had a great time with my girls and before I knew it, it was 2300 hours and time for bed...only 10 more hours till my husband gets home!!
