Chips & Salsa

Day 21
Friday, January 21, 2011
After this terribly long, agonizing week at the new job, and working two hours longer than I was supposed to today, I called Matt before I headed home and asked him if he felt like going out for Mexican food for dinner. He agreed it sounded like a good idea and so I drove home, picked him up, and we headed to downtown Stuttgart for a Friday night date. The last time we were walking around the downtown area we passed a place called “Hacienda” that looked like an authentic Mexican restaurant with sombreros and margaritas on their window.

This is where I wanted to go tonight to enjoy some fresh Mexican food. We were not disappointed! When we walked in the door and down the stairs, I thought we were back in Jacksonville, NC at one of our favorite Mexican restaurants, “La Hacienda.” This place was decorated in the traditional Mexican restaurant style with sombreros all over the place and they even had a live band which didn’t start playing until we were walking out the door but it looked like a great place to hang out and enjoy a Mexican siesta after a long work week.

I'm less interested in why we're here.  I'm wholly devoted to while we're here.  ~Erika Harris
