This morning I woke up an extra four hours earlier than usual just to make my husband coffee and breakfast before he left for work. I didn’t even have to set an alarm; my husband had too many lights on and was listening to music in the bathroom while he was shaving and getting ready for work. I decided to just get out of bed and surprise him by making breakfast while he was in the shower! When he opened the bathroom door and smelled French Toast with Maple Syrup (his favorite) he walked straight from the bathroom to the kitchen in a towel, and I saw the biggest smile on his face. I haven’t made him French toast at 5:30 am since our very first Valentine’s Day together four years ago.

Talk about seizing the day, before the sun comes up!
