A run in the sun

Today something out of the ordinary happened for this region of Europe. The beautiful sun shined its light upon the dreary land of Böblingen. Donning my purple Nike Hatphones with IPod adapter, warm running clothes, and red Brooks running shoes, I headed out the door at 1400 hours to catch some rays before they decided to disappear.

My sister bought me the Nike Hatphones for Christmas one year and for anybody who loves to run outside all year round, these are amazing. They keep your head warm, there is no cord to mess with or armband to wear, and the sound is awesome.










I've never been a fast runner, and ever since I started having back issues, running outside isn't something I do very often. Every now and then, the sunshine calls to me and I give in. My go-to support shoe is the Brooks Adrenaline GTS 9. I also own the GTS 8 in blue but the 9 is more stylish in my opinion and we all know it's important to look good while you work out!

I finished my run after about 25 minutes and climbed up and down the stairs about 30 times to "cool down." After some stretches and a hot shower, I felt ready for anything.

Don't be fooled by the calendar. There are only as many days in the year as you make use of. ~Charles Richards
