Day 28
Friday, January 28, 2011I finally made it to Friday! I feel like I went through forty hours of straight hell this week. I'm so glad I'm just a substitute, I don't have to show up again until February 18th.
My darling husband bought me flowers and a gift certificate for a Manicure & Pedicure one day weeks ago and I thought today would be the perfect day to cash in on it. After the work week from hell, this was exactly what I needed. I arrived at the salon at 1600 hours and sat in the massage chair while I received an amazing pedicure from Kiki, my new best friend :)
From there I was moved to the manicure table and while I was waiting for my nails to dry I thought about how relieved I felt because on Monday I wasn't going back to that place. I can't believe how stressful this week has been. This can't be good for my health, or the people who work there on a regular basis. I decided I would start looking for another job come Monday!
