After a shower, I felt good as new and ready to tackle Tuesday with a positive attitude.
There are a million ways to lose a work day, but not even a single way to get one back. ~Tom DeMarco and Timothy Lister
Today was such a long day at work. Nine and a half hours with no lunch break and dealing with a bad attitude from my supervisor. I am already regretting taking this job, but after this week if I don’t want to work anymore, I won’t.
I wasn't going to go to the gym, I felt way too drained and I had to drive my husband downtown to pick up his vehicle from the service garage, he had a new windshield put in today. When we got there, the car was not ready to pick up yet so we turned around and went home. He was in a bad mood and I was way too tired to deal with it so I shut myself in our very large laundry room, put in my earphones, and road my recumbent bicycle as fast as I could for 30 minutes.
After my workout I felt better but I was still bothered by the fact that it seemed like I let this day go by without ever seizing it. So, I jumped off the bike and just took a few minutes to dance, right there in my laundry room. I was listening to “We are who we are” by Kesha how could I not dance?
After a shower, I felt good as new and ready to tackle Tuesday with a positive attitude.
